Role Overview:As an Automation Engineer, you will design, develop, and execute automation scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and apply testing processes, create detailed test plans, and manage testing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automation Script Development: Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
- Bug Documentation: Identify, record, and document bugs thoroughly.
- Regression Testing: Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Test Planning: Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products.
- Bug Tracking: Use relevant tools to identify, record, document, and track bugs.
- Testing Coordination: Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
- Developer Collaboration: Understand features and technical implementations to improve testing processes.
Required Skills:
- Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, JavaScript.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies and test management tools.
- Knowledge of continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
